About Me

The Story Behind My Tours

I’m a communication professional who, by chance or maybe fate, made a bold turn in life. I got the chance to try guiding — and I fell in love instantly. That’s when I chose the forest over the office, the bog over the boardroom, real people over corporate goals, and sunlight and movement over sitting still.

Now I pour that love into my tours. I offer three unforgettable experiences — all among the very best Estonia has to offer. My nature tour takes you to the most breathtaking places in Lahemaa National Park: through mystical bogs, wild forests, seaside cliffs and hidden waterfalls, where Estonia’s nature shows its quiet magic.

The second is a unique cultural journey — a soulful experience that touches the heart and invites you to feel life deeply. It leads into the mystical world of Arvo Pärt, the world’s most celebrated living composer. At the Arvo Pärt Centre, his music meets silence and spirit — a journey from darkness into light.

A Higher Standard of Comfort

Before starting Astra Tours, I worked in other tour companies. And I saw something I couldn’t ignore.

Many tours transported guests in crowded, low-quality buses — with little space, limited comfort, and sometimes poor cleanliness. For me, this simply wasn’t acceptable.

That experience led me to create Astra Tours — a company built on a higher standard.

Today, every Tallinn day trip I offer includes: small groups (2–7 guests), clean, spacious, and comfortable vehicles, a calm and relaxed travel atmosphere.

Because your journey should feel good from the very beginning!

I keep my tours small, personal and flexible, because I love pampering my guests and giving them the very best — both in content and comfort. With me, you’ll discover the beauty, soul and stories of Estonia — and maybe a piece of yourself along the way.
The day was very well organised from start to finish. The waterfall, walking across the bog on the boardwalk, the delicious food, the fishing village. So much in one day. It was a great experience, made perfect by our guide, Astra, who answered all our questions with enthusiasm. Didn't see the time go by. If you want to discover something different, don't miss this opportunity.

I'm so glad I was able to do this tour and see more of Estonia than Tallinn! The bog was a cool experience, seeing wild blueberries, cranberries, and the beautiful views. Lunch at the centuries old restaurant was delicious and filling. Unfortunately the Sagadi Mansion house was closed, but we still were able to walk around the property and enjoy the gardens. If you are thinking of doing this tour, the answer is do it!

The tour was a convenient way to see several different places outside of Tallinn that weren’t easy or were impossible to get to by public transport, especially if you’re tight on time and only spending a few days in Estonia. It was great having a knowledgeable local guide driving us around and explaining the history, culture, customs and nature of the area as we went along. Stopping for lunch at the cute wooden thatched restaurant in the fishing villlage was fun. The highlight was the walk along the boardwalk in the peat moss bog. Our guide Astra was lovely, accommodating and happy to answer all kinds of questions about the various things we saw. It’s definitely a tour worth doing.
